An extremely nice addition to your peripherals.

Very handy, especially for a laptop user. It has a VESA mount which would allow you to attach it to the back of a monitor. I didn't make use of it. Now, to be fair, my HP Pavilion already has ethernet and HDMI. However, I use the pluggable at my office where I can keep my monitor and ethernet permanently connected and then just unplug and re-plug the single Thunderbolt 3 cord into my Pavilion. I mention that aside from just being a handy way to add more USB 3 ports (and whoever complains about having too many USB ports these days?). The fact that it's Thunderbolt IMHO makes it a more stable connection since the connection to your computer is more akin to a PCIe card, etc.

Docking station improvement

I'm always in need of devices that help speed up work or simplify work in my office. Even though I haven't utilized this docking station as much as I would like I know it's going to be a great asset to my office. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Wow Perfect For Remote Employees

The first task was figuring out who in the household would use this product. My son who works with two computers to do his music won after all. I think it is amazing how we downsized to one computer and switching it out for another monitor. Gave him the flexibility to toggle between the two screens. This is excellent for those who work from home. Where was this two years ago? This is excellent.
