He's a little over one and does fine in it just make sure to use the seatbelt and adjust accordingly. The stickers are peeling off a bit but we use it both inside and outside the house. As I was assembling it and looking back on it, I remembered how much I really liked it. The design is very cute. The stickers are a nice touch and assembly is very easy. The only tool you really need is either a hammer. But overall it's a very easy toy to put together. To this day, my son still loves it and now my nephew loves it too.
