The summer of 2025 we put the sleeping bags to the test, car camping in the outdoors of the CA Redwoods and Sequoia NP. (Elev. 0 - 7700') My camping buddy is always freezing, while I am sweating buckets. We are always in need of a great place to sleep at the of a busy day hiking,. We want a warm sleeping bag, with fluffy, soft, flannel material. This bag offers a quality zipper, the insulation on the inside left no cold bottoms. You can shove your small camping pillow into the hood and keep your head toasty. This is a good 3 season bag. It is not warm enough for subzero temperatures. You would need an extra blanket.
