I bought these this summer as ones I bought in 2005 are worn out and in 2008 need to go to work around the house in. Even though I am 6'6", I so not want longer than 8" but very seldom show up in product line. I like the fit and the wear - always look good. Was introduced to them by a boat engine mechanic in 2002.

My dad is 93 years old. He has worn traditional dickie work pants for more than 60 years. It is easier now for him to wear shorts but all of the current shorts have long inseams. I can't tell you how thrilled we were to find that dickie makes traditional work shorts in an 8 inch length. They are the same quality as the work pants of the past and fit exactly the same. Dad wears them all year round.
