It works the way I had hoped for but there are several things that could be improved: 1. When full the pot is very difficult to handle. 2. Somewhat difficult to put water in the tank. Lid is in the way. 3. The filter needs a reference mark showing correct orientation. Controls are easy to use, it makes great coffee, and has a very nice appearance.

This coffee maker is great! You can shut off the beeping. It has a big carafe. There are three settings for the coffee temperature. You can adjust how long it stays on, from 30 minutes to four hours. Better then the two hours of our old coffee maker.
