Sturdy metal, not noisy

The assembly instructions could be better. It took me over an hour and a half to assemble it without help but it was worth the wait. The headboard is a lightly tufted soft leather-like fabric. The bed is made of sturdy metal and is not noisy. I like that it can easily support two adults. It is a good value for the price. It is perfect for a guest room!
