What's a pomander? I used it to pierce holes in an orange then filled the holes with whole cloves for a delightful smell and to provide a natural holiday decoration. The cloves help to preserve the orange. I'll toss in a few weeks and then have an awl for my tool box.

These are the best awes to have around!!! The awl is small enough to keep with your desk emplyments, kitchen tool kit, etc! I have several! This is made well and fits in the hand perfectly. It resembles a small ice pick of my grandmothers. I use it to holes in the lids of small vinegar filled sauce cups to catch fruit flies. WORKS GREAT! Super hole punch!
