This fits right into my double sink on one side . I wash dishes in the first side, and drain them in my sink that holds this drainer . By the time I finish things for the evening , my dishes are nearly dry or dry and I finish the job and put them away ! The drainer is ready to be tucked away under the sink ! Listen this rack is fine. Has worked well so far but it doesn't work for what I intended it for. I wanted this to place in one side of my double sink however because the corners on this are at sharp right angles and my sink has more of a sloping curve at the corners it doesn't fit in by a matter of millimeters. It does however work fine over by my parents place where they have enough counterspace where it just sits on the counter. So all I can advise is that if you intend to use this in your sink make sure your sink has some fairly hard 90 degree corners and not sloping rounded ones because it may not fit.
