My rating is based on the price, features and audio quality. Price - for $50 I'm keeping my expectations in check. These certainly have the appearance of a much more expensive product. Materials are all plastic, but finishing is nice and looks nice. The earbuds themselves look very high end. Quality - They are lightweight and feel like plastic, but everything feels like it will hold up to some abuse. The earbuds need to be lightweight in order to be comfortable in your ears. Audio - Let's keep our expectations in check here, These are $50 and open ear. I'm an audiophile so I have very high expectations and was simply not impressed out of the box. The equilizer settings seem to make things worse. That being said, I was able to use the wavelet app to dial them in to something that sounds respectable. Try out the V shape preset or make a person profile for even better sound. They won't have amazing bass, but that's mostly since they are firing a speaker towards your ear. You sacrifice audio quality for comfort and awareness. I honestly think they could have tuned them much better out of the box and had an even better product on their hands. Case - The case is a highlight. It's very cool to have a full color touchscreen on there. You actually have some nice control of volume and playback, as well as some other fun features. Overall I think these are a great pickup for the price. They are flashy and different, and are great if you want to keep awareness of your surroundings and don't care as much about audio quality. Audiophiles look elsewhere, but casual listeners would be happy particularly after some tweaking.
