Pflueger Monarch Fly Reel, LP Fishing Reel

I was lucky to come across this reel on sale, and for under $25 it was well worth the money. Never owned a Pflueger prior to this, but will keep eyes out for other models on sale now. Despite the price, it's a really nice reel. Casts %26 retrieves very smooth. Lightweight and feels very comfortable in the hand. The finger nut to secure the side plate/spool access is a nice feature as well since the twist lock type can wear out and pop off pretty easily. Reels don't have to cost hundreds to be considered good....they are all worthless if the person fishing with it doesn't know what they're doing! I recommend this and would buy it again.
