We had a previous brand of coffee maker with lots of bells and whistles, like controlling from our phone. Basically, tons of features that we do not really care about. The only real thing is being able to serve 12 cups. Jump less than two years later and that coffee maker starting behaving funny. We had to press the power button in a certain way for several seconds so that it registers that we want to make coffee. And at the end, that was it, no more coffee at all. Being a complicated coffee maker, lots of electronics in there and it is not easy to change that switch that makes the power button. So we came and bought this no fuss coffee maker from Black & Decker. So far, so good, it works perfectly and does what it is supposed to do, which is, make coffee. And should the switch fail again, it is clear as day that it would be easy to fix it ourselves this time. So all in all, pretty happy with our purchase so far.

Coffee maker leaves no questions about getting it to work for you. Easy to clean. Add water and coffee and press on button and no confusion. Very good product.
