Shop4Omni 12 Inch Kerosene Oil Camping Lantern

This lantern has not leaked a drop. Anyone buying a kerosene lantern knows how badly most of them leak. That includes the higher-end ones such as Dietz and Feuerhand. I use kerosene lanterns while camping, not only for light but for the vibe. I have several, including a high-priced Dietz that leaked like a sieve. I have fixed the two I own by soldering the bottom seam. This lantern is beautiful and an awesome buy. Very high-quality build with smooth tight seams, is sturdy, and sits perfectly straight. It features a 5/8" wick that is adequate for a decent amount of light and yet efficient. The fill cap is nicer than most and screws in smoothly and tightens well. The cap has a rubber gasket on the very bottom which seals it well. It amazes me how long these will burn on a scant amount of kerosene. NOTE: DO NOT OVERFILL. Always fill to no more than half an inch from the spout. Also note, that all of these lanterns will leak where the verticle arms are attached to the tank, so, do not swing the lantern around or tilt it wildly...it will leak from these places. This is a great purchase at $16.95. I paid over $60 for my Dietz that leaked like crazy. See attached photo. I placed a 17oz bottle next to it for size comparison.
