I suppose it wore out so I got another one and these are the most awesome bug zappers there is just plug it in and it's ready to go. my only complaint would be is it? the light is extremely bright. we have it in our entryway

Every summer I have a problem with fruit flllys or gnats; not sure which they are.I keep this on 24/7 during that period to keep them under control. A minor downside is that it could be easeir to clean. The removable tray does not completely cover the bottom so there are dead bugs on base of unit after removing tray. Most of remnants can be cleaned up with vacuum.

Good quality for the price and it does work!

Trying one of these was the best choice for my coastal area in Florida in the marshlands on the West Coast. Our bottom floor has flow thru vents in the garage and bonus room and entry. I have tried everything—sprays, citronella, you name it. The mosquitos, gnats, no see ums, and moths manage to get in through the vents. I got one for the downstairs bonus room/entry and one for the 3rd floor. The main floor is where we are mostly. I am very impressed. This thing zaps them hard enough to throw them all over the floor, so I have to vacuum often, but now I have no bugs.
