Key item features

  • 2 x Storage Bags Included. When backpacking, small size is essential. Because of this, we have included a small 10L compression bag. This stuff sack will compact and fit comfortably into most hiking packs. We have also included a large 35L Mesh Storage bag for home storage between trips.
  • Comfort. Sleeping bag lining is made with comfortable brushed micro polyester flannel, unlike other bags that have cold and slippery liner. This light weight sleeping bag weighs only about 3.9 lbs which makes it great for backpacking. Includes safety Velcro that keeps scratchy Velcro away from your face.
  • Seals in warmth. Mummy sleeping bags are designed to fit your body closely and hold warm air close to you. We have added a full-length padded draft tube along the zipper and a draft collar to help seal in that warm air and keep it from escaping during cold weather nights. While this bag is designed for men and women, children will also stay toasty and warm overnight.
  • Quality materials. Sleeping bag shell is made with durable, 210T Ripstop, water resistant nylon and upgraded, snag-free SBS taped zippers. Insulation is made with dense 300 GSM Hollow Fiber Polyester that keeps you warmer in freezing winter temperatures and keeps its insulation ability even when exposed to wet weather.
  • Cold weather rated. This bag is rated for 20 F degrees and above. Now, that doesn't mean you will be comfortable at 20F. See product description on all the details about this rating and what is means for you.

Overall Great

So I used this bag twice on some recent backpacking trips in Idaho. Overall great bag. I would say that, at least for me, below 35 degrees would require another lower rated bag. It does say 20, but I found that during my nights I woke up a couple times chilly in the bag and it was prob right at around 35-36 degrees. The decompression bag began ti tear at one of the seems where the ribbon attaches so may need a new one. Overall great bag and happy I got it.

Good value for a young Scout

Bought this for a young boy scout to use on cold camping trips. It is pretty good and has worked well down to the low 30s. He has not done any snow camping yet, but I suspect with a liner it would be good. We lost power/heat in the house for a few cold days, and he really liked sleeping in his bed with just the sleeping bag.

Superior customer service, durability and craftsmanship! Did not disappoint!

Well, I can begin by saying that I ordered 2 identical bags for my husband and son to take on their 12 day trek to the Philmont Scout ranch in NM from 7/3-15/19. It's not a desert scenario, like most of you would think, but they hiked from 7,000 to 11,000 feet and there was snow on the Mountain in Mid-July. They needed a 20 degree sleeping bag that would keep them warm and be able to fit in their backpacks to be kept at a minimum of 55 pounds each while hiking. Upon their return my son, mentioned that the liner "fuzzed and pilled a lot", leaving fibers on his clothes. Not too concerning, no big deal, but I just thought that I'd email the owner and let him know of my concern. He was FABULOUS...he gave me 2 options: to fully refund the purchase price and I keep the 2 bags, or give me a partial credit and send me 2 brand new bags with a different, synthetic liner that they had just starting ustilizing. My boys decided on the latter and I'm so glad that they did. The owner mailed them via FedEx immediately, (at his expense), and we couldn't be happier. Let me remind you, the first 2 bags held up wonderfully during 11 days of camping, hiking, rain, snow, (and my boys being not able to take showers, they were pretty ripe when they got home). I hand washed them, they held up well during soaking in the tub, hand wringing them and line drying. So after all, I have to give this company and their sleeping bags 5 stars for... Superior quality, great value, durability and functionality. Plus, I'm supporting a veteran-based business here in the US and that's important to me. You can't find business owners who will stick their neck out for you, I really appreciate it. Hope it helps.
