heavy duty grate, easy to use

I just got one of these so I can use my grill like a stove. It is quite heavy, which in my opinion means it will last. It sits securely on the top of the grill and just lifts in and out as needed to swap with the original grate.

Well made, it fits, buy 2.

It fits perfectly on my Roadtrip 285 grill. The owners manual warns against heating the cast iron grates without having something on them. With the middle burner on, this creates a problem, if you are just using the pot holder on one side. I found that taking the opposing side grill off didn't work well. The pot holder slides over to the empty space while cooking. To fix this, I ordered a second pot holder grate. Works good.
