Good for older kids

It's a fun kit and kids love this lollipop. But it's not adequate for an 8 year old. I would recommend this for 14 as it involves the stove and heating sugar which is dangerous for kids. As an adult I did all the work the kids only enjoy the candy. The flavors are cherry and blue raspberry I believe however both flavors taste the same. The candy settle great even though it gets stuck to your teeth. It's only good for two batches and not sure if they sell more individual flavors to remake. The plus here to me was the candy thermometer.
