Pleasantly Surprised

This is not a deep, thick chenille. It's thinner with a less dense weave. The nap reminds me of a very thin and close-cut velvet. Which is appropriate for the soft, pale pink color. The zipper is located approximately 2-3 inches from the side seam, making the pillow outward facing only. I wanted a square shape and chose a pillow insert of appropriate size for that intention, but the fabric is so soft and pliable that achieving the square bottom and crease cut top style shown in the product photos should be a breeze. I have not washed, steamed, or ironed the cases yet so there is still a noticeable crease from how they were shipped. When I do I will most likely hand wash just one to see how it turns out due to the thin nap of the fabric
