Great for Side Sleepers!

We picked these up to keep in our camping setup because it just feels kinda weird to us to take our bed pillows and take them camping... maybe it's just us. Anyways, these are really nice little pillows - once you open the package they take a bit of time to decompress into their normal size and then you'll see that they're quite lofty. I am a diehard side sleeper so I'm very happy about the loft. Also, can I just say that the price is fantastic on these. They also come with their own drawstring bag to keep them clean in your camp box!

Comfortable and Cozy

Very nice camping pillow at a great price! Offers support bigger than its size even though it's not one solid piece of memory foam - the smaller memory foam fill pieces allow it to be more easily compressed which makes for a smaller pack size. Very lightweight and comes with a decent cinch-close bag for carrying. Soft enough cover to not require a separate pillowcase if you're trying to shave some ounces. If you're tight on pack space a small compression bag to replace the included carry bag would easily reduce its pack size.

Good for napping

Nice travel pillow. Firm and nice when I nap on my side or just lay down. I think I will buy another one soon.

Shorter than Advertised, Softens with Use.

The dimensions online are stated as 15.74” wide and 10.62” deep. They must be looking at the pillow sideways. From that perspective I measure the length to be about 10” and the wide to be near 6” and the depth to be around 14”. In simpler terms; I find the pillows dimensions to be exaggerated in the items description. Now the pillow, you kinda have to roll up like a burrito to put back into the bag it came in. This process may at first be difficult for someone with weak hands or perhaps small hands. The material of the bag the pillow comes in is of decent quality. It is made with some kind of polyester material that has a durable feel to it and when you rub it together it makes a zipping sound similar to what you might think of a zipper quickly running back and forth over the teeth of a zipper. The opening of the bag is closed with a drawstring made of >1/8” paracord held tight with a spring-loaded plastic cord lock. The cord lock is made of hard plastic and measures 1”x 1/2”x 3/8” and the resistance of the spring that keeps it locked is substantial. Small fingers (5ish yr. olds) would likely have a difficult time squeezing hard enough to release tension on the cord with only their index finger and thumb. The Ozark Trail logo on the bag is approximately 3 1/2”x 3 1/2” and white set on the black bag; it is very noticeable and almost appears to be floating or jumping off of the black bag. The approximate dimensions of the pillow once rolled and placed into the bag are 10”x 6”. The pillow has a removable case likely made of polyester, which has a soft and velvety feel to it. When I opened the pillow for the first time and allowed it to expand to its fullness; it was very firm. The foam inside of the pillow is somewhat chunky feeling and I suspect small foam squares may be the filling material. So I've had the pillow for almost two weeks now and I've rolled it up and put it in and taken it out of the bag at least a half a dozen times and it is beginning to soften up. I've slept with it at least seven nights worth under my head and between my legs. The firmness of the pillow makes it a very good prop between the knees but I personally found it a tad too stiff and deep for maximum comfort under my head. However, as previously mentioned, the pillow is becoming noticeably softer and I am expecting the comfort will continue to improve also. Now onto the zipper that zips the pillow case's opening together; it is not sewn the full length to the corners and this creates an awkward protrusion on the zipper end of the pillow. Not a big deal but annoying to me. Other than some minor quality control issues surrounding this pillow, I think its a keeper. I would recommend it and have already thought to myself of purchasing another one. I give this pillow a solid 4 of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍👍

I bought and returned this. It isn't a bad product, but I'm car camping and have space for a much larger pillow. This one is workable and does a pretty good job for its size, but I want something larger. It fits very nicely in the supplied bag, and is easy to put back.

Very hard memory foam

This item is a good size, however it is not normal memory foam. It is pretty thick and it is not very soft. If you like a very firm pillow, you will like this one. If you like a traditional memory foam material, do not get this pillow.

Gets a bit hard when cold

When I first got this pillow, it seemed soft and nice. But after using it in the cold on an air mattress, it got super hard and uncomfortable. Both of us mentioned this. Maybe if we had a proper mat with a high R value, this would have been better. Good value for money though.

Memory foam or NOT memory foam?

Two factors caused me to down-rate from 5 stars to 3: 1. Is it really memory foam? The product label attached to the cover says "polyurethane foam". GPT-5 AI says, "Memory foam is a type of polyurethane (PU) foam but not all polyurethane foam is memory foam." Further AI says, "Memory foam (viscoelastic foam) is a specialized PU foam formulated with viscoelastic additives that make it slow-recovering, pressure-relieving, and body-conforming. This pillow does not act like memory in recovery. When depressed [hard] it immediately bounces back to its original shape. 2. This pillow is overstuffed to the point of perhaps being too hard to put your head on comfortably without eventual ear pain for some people. Even if it is really memory foam it apparently is compressed so much that it is defeating its design limits for acting like memory foam. It is shredded foam in there, not solid like most memory foam products. If it had a zipper to enable removing some of the foam pieces then I would not have removed two stars. Without a zipper it becomes much less universally usable. Plusses: Nice enough outer cover, nice carrying bag Minuses: A little hard for me, no zipper on inner cover, memory foam doubtful. Don't expect any head of face form-fitting contouring.
