Vegetable soup

Baby, boil this up in some chicken broth, add your favorite meat then, Boom!! The whole family is eating healthy, fed ,and already watching Netflix. Add tomatoes and butter if you want, that is your business, my baby. Good for 3 days refrigerated. Yep.

I like having frozen vegetables on hand, as a quick, nutritious side e to weeknight meals. These Great Value Mixed Vegetables are easy to prepare. I typically just use about 1/3-1/2 if the bag and pop them into the microwave. Less than 20 minutes for an easy side to go with many meals. As good as ANY national brand, and costs a lot less.

Great For Casseroles!

The thing I like the most about these mixed vegetables is their color and texture. This is a very economical way I add great vegetables to my diet. I got this bag for a casserole, but had about half of it left over. This is the big bag. It's two pounds of vegetables. They were delicious in the casserole and also worked well in soup. The bright colors and good taste make this item a real deal.

Great Value frozen veggies are a great value!

Great Value Mixed Vegetables are a good pantry (freezer) staple. I like to add a handful to soups or even pre-made shepherd's pie to bulk them up a bit and add flavor. The green beans in the mix have a pleasant freshness to them that beats canned green beans by a mile! I had been purchasing the smaller bags, but I once I found out how versatile these frozen vegetables are I switched to the larger size so I don't run out as quickly. I'm going to try them in fried rice, next. I'm sure I'll be pleased with the results.

Great value of frozen vegetable products

These vegetables are excellent and because the are quickly harvested and frozen they retain their vitamin benefits. We started buying these when the other name brand stores started reducing the size of the one pound vegetables till now they’re only 8 ounces. How are you supposed to feed in the family with eight lousy ounces of vegetables? And then the worst part is they claim they’re doing it to keep the costs down but that’s not true at all. It cost them so much money to retool everything just so they can pack them into smaller bags. This gives us the value we need and the quantity we need to feed our family.

Good price for what you get.

I'm very pleased with these vegetables. Works perfectly for freeze drying. Great for using while making different soups. Dried ingredients for soups or stews are nice to have in your backpack. Camping or hiking essentials. Just add hot water and you have a nice hot meal. At home I like to have these as a side in a meat meal. Even my overly picky spouse will eat this. Price is very competitive with other brand names. And the quality is excellent.

Makes meal prep and recipes easy

I use these 2 lb frozen veggies to make my dogs food for the week. Easy, priced fair. Fresh dog food; Frozen ground turkey chubs, Walmart $1.99 (I use 6 rolls or 6 lbs) Frozen veggie mix, 2 lb, $2.48 1-2 cup great value brown rice, .75 2-3 cups of water Just toss it all in big stock pot and stir, breaking up the meat. I usually start it on medium high while I’m stirring and then throw a lid on and leave it on the stove most of the day, checking in and stirring periodically. I’m able to feed two large dogs food for a week for about $15. They love it. It’s just like the fresh food subscriptions for 1/10 cost.

Fresh Taste and Great Variety!

This 32 oz bag is such a great value for the price. I love keeping these in the freezer for a quick and healthy side dish or to toss into soups and stews. The mix of carrots, corn, green beans, and peas is well-balanced, and they actually taste fresh once cooked, not mushy like some other frozen brands. It’s a huge time-saver for meal prep, and the large bag lasts a long time. Definitely a freezer staple!

Nice side.

I really like this combo. The 'comfort' combo. I take these straight from freezer and bake mine with my seasonings. Glass dish about 40 minutes. Best to use for homemade chicken pot pie when you don't have time to do all of the chopping. Great side to beef, pork or chicken.

Convenience food that's not highly processed

Tasty when boiled in a pan rather than steamed in the bag, especially if you don't want to worry about microplastics. When cooked, add some butter and stir. No salt %26 pepper needed. Good alone, in stir-fried rice, or homemade chicken pot pie. Note this is a two pound bagful.
