great monitor!

I bought this monitor for my daughter when she was born 3 years ago. It worked so good that I bought the same one for my son a few weeks ago. I use both monitors daily (one in each child's room) to keep an ear on things. I love this product! Works great!

Battery Does not charge

I have tried to charge the battery. Yes I did follow the directions to every last specific detail. It does not charge. I have read several other reviews on other sites that reflect the same thing. Unfortunately, I read them after I bought the monitor. Im not even going to bother with yet another battery. Its just time to buy a different monitor.

    Would not re-purchase

    Have used these for several months. One unit has had a short or something since early on--will only recognize that it is plugged in when laid on its side! Otherwise, it beeps as if out of battery (even though it's plugged in!). Sound when baby talks is too quiet, in my opinion, even at max volume. I struggle to hear it (even though receiver is very close to crib).

    I received this monitor from Graco and was asked to provide my opinion on Walmart.com I prefer a video monitor but I take this when we go to grandma's house to visit. The sound is a little difficult to pick up but it does what we need it to.

    Definitely a great monitor

    I have used this monitor for about a month now and love it. the battery life is amazing (long lasting) and the clarity is great. Have not use the vibe feature. Definitely would recommend this monitor.

    Great Buy

    Great range, very sensitive when you want it to be and the dual rechargeable parent units make getting around inside and outside your house easy. I highly recommend this product.

    Don't understand bad reviews, works great

    I really don't understand why some people hated it.. maybe they didn't properly set it up or charge it or have defective ones, but ours works perfectly. The sound is clear as a bell. No static whatsoever.

    nope

    Worked great for the first two months. Then the battery stopped charging, plugging it in didn't work either. Good price, but it should have lasted longer than that.

    Perfect!

    Hands down the best safety item purchased for the nursery. What's most dependable is the clarity. Sounds as if the baby is in the same room as you...which is what every concerned parent wants right!

    Very poor quality

    This is actually the second baby monitor we have bought. Our first was cheaper and better quality. After charging it the full 16 hours, we put it in the baby's room. First off, there is a white noise. Second, his mobile's music sound like a distorted hum. Also, I didn't realize that not all monitors have the two-way capabilities. This one does not.

    Good monitor overall

    We bought this for my sister in law who is expecting. We have this same monitor ourselves and love it. The vibration is a great feature especially if you are listening to music, are outside or are somewhere noisy. The range and clarity are both great. The only issue we have is that after 10 months we had to replace the battery because one of our remotes stopped working suddenly.

    Buzzing Makes Annoying Noise

    This unit would be great except it buzzes. It buzzes louder if it is close to anything else electric -- which is difficult NOT to do since you have to plug it in most of the time. Even if it is not close to anything electrical, it buzzes... If annoying buzzing doesn't bother you, then you might like it.

    Short Battery Life

    Just start using this item for my grandson about two months ago regularly (every other day). Im looking for another monitor at the moment. The reciever will not hold a charge. Not even when it is plugged in. The battery life is gone although the batteries are rechargeable. The sound quality is great but absolute without a working battery.

    Great Monitor System

    We've had this monitor system now for over 2 years and it keeps on ticking. The sound quality is clear and the range reaches well past the inside of our 1400 sqft home. There are times, however, that the parent unit will unsync from the base, but a quick reset always gets us back on. We are still on the original set of batteries too, they are getting a little weak, but still holds a charge for a few hours. We mostly keep them on the bases anyways.

    Good product

    Graco provided me with this monitor and asked me to share my honest opinion about it on Walmart.com. We have never really used monitors in the past, but now that we have a new baby and three preschoolers, we wanted to have one that we could use outside the house. We were so happy that we are able to use this monitor outside!! It works throughout our entire yard, and the sound is great. We like the vibration option, too, as sometimes things outside can be a little loud. Great product!

    Static Static Static

    At first it worked great, like the first few times we tested it out, but now... it's been nothing but static ever since. If we have it on the vibe option, it never stops its a continued vibration until you actually switch the vibe button completely off altogether. We will be in search of a new monitor asap. Total waste of money.

    We finally found a monitor that works for us. We tried 2 different Sony monitors and could not get them to stop beeping. This one beeps occasionally, but changing channels or moving the monitor a bit stops that. We like the light weight feel and the fact that it is constantly charging. The only complaint that we have is that the volume on the receivers doesn't go very high. It picks up our babies cries just fine. We just don't hear much of her movements or background noise, which is usually not a problem.

    Not as good as expected

    We purchased this monitor 1 month before our baby was born & he is now 3 months. 1 receiver quit working after 1 month & the 2nd has now quit working. Wont even work with it plugged in. This was the most expensive monitor Wal-Mart had in stock at the time & thought it would have been the best. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT. Hope Wal-Mart will read these other reviews & take this back! I spend WAY TOO MUCH $ with them.

    Great Monitor

    This is a great monitor. It is everything that i would have thought it to be. It has a wide range which works outside and it doesnt matter how many electronics or wife or how many walls your house has. Nothing interferes with the quality. i hear every move my baby makes in his crib. Also the lights and vibration come in handy when i am doing something noisy like blending and cant always hear the monitor. i was thinking it might have been a drawback to not to be able to respond to baby through the monitor, but i dont think i would have used that feature anyway. its awesome for what i need it for. works great for my 6 months so far with no complaints.

    Poor battery life

    I had this monitor with my son and not long after using it, the range became worse and worse. Then it would not work without being on charging station and plugged in. When my son outgrew im the need for a monitor, I packed it up with all the other baby stuff and forgot about it. Now, with my daughter I took it out of storage in the basement with other baby stuff and am frustrated that it does not work without the base and being plugged in, especially since we have a bigger home now. If you are looking for a good range and being able to have a portable listening device to take around the home this is not the product for you! If you are ok with it having to be plugged in to work (after a month or two of use), then this should suffice. However...

    Easy set up and works great

    Actually got this to monitor my ailing Father. After having a fall in the middle of the night, we realized we needed to be able to hear him call even faintly. This unit has certainly allowed us to hear if he is having difficuly while alone in his room. This is well worth the price and it was available for pickup at out local Walmart the very next day after ordering.

    Great monitor

    This monitor has no interference, a great range, and the vibe/lights help when you're in noisy places that you can't hear the monitor (ie outside with company#. I've had mine for 2 years and the batteries just died #not sure if there is such a thing as a replacement battery) but I have had NO complaints and I use it ALL the time.
