Choose a concealer that matches your skin tone to cover up discoloration and blemishes, and to produce a flawless appearance when you apply your makeup. Avoid a matte liquid concealer when you have dry skin because it will make the dryness more noticeable.

Those with oily skin shouldn't use a creamy or stick concealer since they can clog pores and make pores appear larger. For some small skin discolorations, you can use a light- to medium-coverage concealer.

When you choose a concealer, make sure it's the same exact color as your foundation so it doesn't show through. When applying concealer under the eyes, don't go more than a shade or two lighter than your skin to prevent light circles.
