i was in jail for a week for speaking wrong in a court room and i read a book published in 1993 (Virual Light) about Augmented Reality glasses that mentioned the benefits of a kevlar sole multiple times.. Walmart has several $40 kevlar options and these seem closest to sandals.. i had 3 near misses with two 2-inch thorns and a nail in my shoes within about 2 years so i took that to be a sign.. these are working well but i won't know how well until i make a misstep..

The shoes are built tough I wear a 10 1/2 or 11 mens and I ordered the largest size of this shoe and it's just right after adding an extra sole insert for more cushion I still have toe room that doesn't hurt. the style and comfort are both great working on concrete floors for ten hours a day.
