This brand of shoe is amazing. I have a pair for work and a pair for leisure. The only downside fall is quality over time. I have to purchase a new pair once a year, for work. My husband works in a very fast pace busy kitchen that involves some moisture sometimes on his shoes from the floors , he said the shoes are comfortable and so far about a month in there's no lifting at the seams and the soles aren't falling off like a lot of his work shoes do very quickly . A good powder is a good idea if you have a stinky feet because they do retain smell lol . Only maintenance I do is is taking a toothbrush and a metal stick to remove gunk and buildup on the bottom shoe which helps keeping them lasting in our experience. No complaints of rubbing on the ankle , no issues with sore feet for having to walk and stand 10hr shifts either, and as a flat footed man no requests for any inserts for further support .
