Most allergy cases are slippery and feel like plastic and every time you toss and turn it crinkles in your ear BUT not this brand. This is like sleeping on a cloud with the bonus of keeping my dust mite allergy at bay. Very easy to wash in warm water. I don't find the cases to be hot or cold while sleeping.
