Ugly Stik Bigwater Spinning Rod, 6' Medium Heavy Fishing Rod

I've been using the 12' Ugly Stik paired with an 8000 Penn Pursuit reel, and it handles extremely well. I mainly use it for crab snaring and have thrown 10 oz lures without any issues. The rod has plenty of backbone for casting heavy weight, but still feels balanced and comfortable in hand. Overall, it's a solid, durable setup that performs exactly how you'd expect from an Ugly Stik, reliable and tough.

Great rod for the money, pretty sensitive for a heavy action, could use a bit more backbone but do love that this thing will bend and bend long before it will break. Great look and feel to the rod too. It's fiberglass, not graphite which does wonders for durability. Good crab snaring rod,
