These coffee filters are made to fold the bottom and one side once, then open up and place in you coffee holder….mine is a ninja and it fits well and stays open for me to put the coffee inside. I prepare that far the night before and turn it in next morning….FAST AND EASY !!

Only drawback to these is they are EXPENSIVE compared to white ones. These do make a great difference in flavor so I do recommend them, though. They are my preferred filter.
