I wanted a glass blender. Most are Plastic now. The Pricey plastic blender I purchased before this one, stopped working after a year. The glass Oster my mom gave me lasted 2 decades. This Main Stay blender does the trick, and has enough speeds to be very versatile and easy to clean. I have done multiple tasks with it and it is easy to clean. Completely satisfied.
