I am always skeptical when buying a new cleaning product. I usually find that I am disappointed and rarely use the product after the first few times. I hate cleaning, and have hardwood throughout my house with linoleum in my kitchen (for now). When I cleaned the floors before, it was a 4 hour process (at least) for just the kitchen and living room areas. I would sweep, vacuum, mop, steam mop, and then vacuum again. The first time I used this on the hardwood, I took it very slow making sure to scrub every inch carefully. I was instantly amazed about how well it cleaned everything and how dirty my floors were after all that work a few days before. The next day, I repeated the process, but used it less meticulously. Disappointing

I just received my hoover and washed one floor and it already stopped working!!!! I read the book and did all the troubleshooting and it wont even turn on. I had to wait two weeks to get it and now i cant even use it. I am very disappointed. I have no choice but to get a refund. And ponder whether to reorder.

    This is a wonderful product and does a good job. The main reason it gets a 4 star rating is that the clean water dispenser could be a bit larger. Otherwise its a great product to have when you have mostly just flooring in your house. Also not too heavy and easy to use. Would definitely recommend to all my friends. I mean how can you beat not having to drag out the ol' mop and bucket?

    Its an all-in-one floor cleaner!

    Although expensive, its great if you have dogs or heavy traffic. It cleans from area rugs to hardwood floors and the drying dial doesn't even need to be used. Its a bit heavy, but the overall thought of vacuuming, washing and then rewashing the floors is worth the weight. Its one unit in three! I would like to try another cleaning solution in it, something stronger, any suggestions? I did put some Dollar store good smelling Popporui in it. It freshened the room as it cleaned. EMPTYING THAT DIRTY WATER THAT WAS ON MY FLOORS WAS A JOY! Its great so see how dirty the water becomes in such a small area, then dumped in the sink! I have already posed this to Facebook and recommened it to friends.

    excellent results on my ceramic tile floor

    I have a large area of 18x18 ceramic tile from entry, hallway, dining room and kitchen and breakfast nook. I was tired of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing on hands and knees and floor still not feeling really clean. I purchased the Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub and absolutely love it. Does a fantastic job. Best $$ ever spent on floor scrubber and I did get the additional warranty as I will use this product a lot.

    I'm embarrassed to say that my floors were pretty dirty. I can't clean them as often as I should. I am very pleased with the way the FloorMate was able to pick up the dirt. I was surprised to see how black the water became. I need to get down and scrub out the really bad area and then by keeping up with the cleaning, it will be just perfect. It is easy to use and I'm glad I got it. Worked well on my laminate floors.

    Why did I just find out about the Hoover Floor Mate? So easy to operate and my floors have never been cleaner! I no longer dread cleaning them. I have tried every type of mop sold including steam mops, I had a maid service that claimed to clean the old fashioned way on their knees but when I spilled a little water on the floor and wiped it up with a napkin I saw how dirty my floors still were! This Hoover cleans and you see the results in the water tank! Highly recommend it!

    Excellent cleaning tool

    It's very noisy but does a fantastic job cleaning the floor. I have tile throughout and I would like the water tank to be bigger as I have to refill a couple of times if I want to clean the whole house. After trying a couple of steam mops this is by far much better. I love the fact it picks up the dirty water.

    I have laminate, vinyl and concrete floors in my house. I also own multiple dogs and my back can't handle mopping anymore :( I decided to try this floor cleaner and I wish I had it years ago because it might have help save my back. It cleans, sucks and dries the floor better than I could do with a mop!! There is only a few things that keep it from being perfect but not a deal breaker for me...     Finally, really clean floors!

    My home has all tile floors and with 2 dogs it can be difficult to keep the tile clean. I have always used a mop and hand scrubbing---but with so much tile it is very difficult to clean and keep it clean--not to mention having to change the dirty water and clean the mop constantly while mopping and scrubbing. With the floormate, I am never putting a dirty mop or dirty water back on the tiles.

    Clean Quick and easy

    I had another older model of hoover and really enjoy this product. It cleans my floors nicely, and quickly. I can do my whole house faster than I can with a regular mop where I had to dry the floor. I also like the fact that I'm pulling up dirty water, and not leaving it on the floor. I haven't found a product that will really clean the grout yet, but I'm still looking. I was going to try the grout cleaner first before washing my floors.

    Awesome product!!

    I have 3 kids under 3, a large dog, and a pet bird. I have spent the last year mopping almost daily, and using a swiffer wet jet in between. I really wish I had bought this earlier. It did an absolutely wonderful job cleaning my hardwood floors. However, I am not completely thrilled with the cleaning solution. I have to use it at half strength because I am highly sensitive to chemical smells. I am wondering if it can't be used with something else. If you need an alternative to mop and bucket cleaning... this is it! I could not believe how much stuff came up out of the floor, because I just mopped yesterday. I am pretty pleased with it. I am sure I will be using this almost daily from here on out.
