Used for bypassing the factory GM amplifier

I used this harness to bypass my 2001 Suburban OEM amplifer. In addition to purchasing a Metra 71-2002 harness and following a website schematic; I was able to bypass the bass filtering of the amplifier door speaker signals which allowed the head unit to deliver a wider sound response with aftermarket speakers. The OEM amplifier filters out the bass frequencies going to the factory paper coned speakers. The sound from the factory OEM radio is greatly increased while still providing signals to the rear subwoofer and rear pillar tweeters.
