This will not work for 2006 or newer GM.

This did not work in my 2006 Impala. You need a harness that has the rap function (Retain Accessory Power). I ended up getting the Scosche GM 3000 for $70.00 it has steering wheel control as well. There is the Access LC-GMRC-Lan-01 available for cheaper. Does not have steering function though. I did not try that one. The Scoshe was available in Walmart. That's why I bought it.
