My husband is a Merchant Mariner and must wear steel-toed boots on his ship. These are the ONLY brand he has bought and worn for over six years. He is tough on them, and conditions on a sea ship aren't easy on shoes either. But he loves how they keep him steady on slick metal surfaces as well as going up and down on grated steps. They keep him safe and that's these shoes most important feature.

He's had a couple of surgeries on his feet so I was looking for the shoe with the most cushion on the inside, with as few rough spots to rub on any part of his foot that could cause him any pain. He loves them, was really happy that the size was right, with the looks of the shoe, and the comfort! They were definitely the perfect pair of shoes for him.
