Bought several cheaper watches. Finally decided to spend the money and buy an Apple watch. More reliable and with many more functions. One of my better decisions. It connects to my iPhone thru Bluetooth. Or you can set it up with it's own Cellular account, so then don't need your iPhone to make and receive phone calls. You do have to pay a carrier to for a separate account and phone number. One of the best features is the crash detection. It will call emergency services automatically if it can't get you to respond to it's alarm. It does have to be major accident and not a fender bender. The Watch was $250 on Amazon, but Walmart had it for $200. There's a lot support from Apple, and all most no support if you buy a $20 Watch from China. If don't have an iPhone you won't be able to use all of the features. You would be better off buying a Samsung watch. I am very happy with my Apple Watch. It's a quality item, and something that can save your life.
